Individual Sewing Lessons
Learn to sew at your own pace, on your own schedule. Instead of sitting with unanswered questions in a class with 20 others,
get the personal attention you need. You can learn to use and troubleshoot your own sewing machine, read a commercial pattern,
and how to alter a pattern to fit your body, be able to hem your own pants, or sew a corset. Private sewing lessons are always
tailored to your interests and learning styles.
Lessons are $30/hr, and are usually 1.5 to 2 hour sessions to ensure you get the most out of your lesson. A basic introductory
series would be 4-6 sessions.
Sasha hosts lessons at her studio in Oakland, but is willing to travel within San Francisco and the East Bay.
Sewing Workshops
Workshops are held on weekends, single evenings, and series of weeknights at the curvedNdarted workshop near the Lake Merritt
Bart station in Oakland. Enrollment is limited to 4-6 people, so individual attention is still possible.
